Baseball is a sport that I adore
I started playing once I could crawl on the floor
This being at the age of three
The sport filled me up with glee
Derek Jeter was the first I ever knew
I learned more and more as I grew
Wells threw a perfect game
That brought him lots of fame
Cone threw one, the very next year
The Yankees were everyone’s fear
They dominated till 2001
Then they lost, and it was done
