Found Poem

A Saga of Confederate Generals

Magnificent recreations

Ponderous dramatization

An Intriguing Exploration of

Vicious little creatures dabbling in the black market

Still Smokin’

Search for a coherent plot

In a post apocalyptic town headed by a sadistic brute

Defensive strategies of nature

A Gladiator Graveyard

A bedroom of leftover furniture

Simply Smashing

-Chris Jackson

Price To Pay

I'm whiping back old tears finding out new fears.
Wondering why life is heading this way
I can stand to know that
I'm here all alone and your full of life
with blood come more blood
but with blood does
it come pain
or another price to pay?

Found Poem

Strange days and a big chill
Megastructures reveals WWI secrets
A war between the Scarlet Knights and Spider- man
Simply smashing wings at war
From pearl harbor to Hiroshima
Late night ambush
Uncut jams in Afghanistan
Rise of the machines, cyborg battles sadistic brute
Great balls of fire revive power rangers
All or nothing defensive launch
Touched by an angel
A farewell to arms.

Frigid

I've never seen you so cold before
from across the room
Past the royal throne
I could feel the frost biting
At the tips of my fingers
Lurking around the room
Knowing everybody else would feel it too

Young Existence: Found Poem

Leaving the outer air
Passion. Glamour.
Awakening.
The touch of his fingers through her hair
Sun.
His arms around me
Flaming
Walk on forever.
Tonight
Her wings soar.
Extraordinary Flights.
Within her
Warm glow.
He cares to be near her and not left alone.
Unexpected overpowering love.
His significance of life withing her.
Beauty and Brutality.
Jealous and Regret.
Eyes that give him courage.
Touch of his lips.
Kiss of love.
Young Existence.

Beach

Once upon there was a boy named Boo
Who never had anything to do
He walked to the beach
and ate a little quiche
While walking to school
he started to drool

Over some girl
that was out of his world
he tried and tried
until he died
and lived a happy life

McDonald's Here I Come! (LOL)

This Haiku is about my failed attempts to get a job for summer 2010

Wanted to lifeguard
Then it was a camp counselor
Now unemployment!

School

Every morning it’s the same thing

I go to school and dread the day

At 6:15 my buzzer rings

But in bed, I will lay

I won’t get up for half an hour

But when I finally do,

I jump in the shower

And as I wash I feel so blue.

I forgot to study for the science test

I dig for my notebook and begin to study

Then the bell rings, and that ends my quest

I will have to review with a buddy

That’s a day, the ups and downs

So stressed, then calm, it’s a lot of change

One minute happy, then a frown

Happy then sad, it’s a huge range

Creation

He
with a nondescript face
posed on the roof
subtly changing the lights,
the texture,
the world.
Metamorphosis!

Evoked by the lights
he disappeared
into a maze of inscrutable runes.

Every Step

Every step I take
I have the choice
Do I love or do I hate?

This simple task can be so hard
For I have the choice to go either way

The consequence of my decision won't be small
So I must think before I make a move

I raise my foot before I step
and think about the choice I have made

I chose to love
I have thought it through

Next time you take a step
what will you do?

My New Life

My new life starts in one year
As my dream of becoming a college student gets closer

I am really anxious to go to college already
Not only because of life in college is exciting
But also because of new friends who come from different places

My new life will be difficult in one year
As my debt of studying in a college gets higher
Five or six digits
It will take a while to pay you know!

Quote Reflection

"Experience is the teacher of all things"
-Julius Caesar

This is one of my favorite quotes. I interpret it in many ways. One that says experience is extremely important. It shows how with out experience people do not get involved and feel as if they are apart of something. You need experience because it is the teacher of all things!
