If I had to re-learn the English language, I'd be pretty confused. Here is a great example: the word "up." Why is the word "up" so confusing?
You get "up" in the morning.
When you want to know what a word means, you look it "up" in the dictionary.
When you vomit, you throw "up."
Women sometimes put on make "up" to look pretty.
When you tell a lie, you made something "up."
When you want someone to be quiet, you tell them to shut "up."
This is why I'm thankful that I already speak English.
